Our friend and Nocona Nights’ committee member Jackie Goldsmith died on July 4th. She was such a central figure for Nocona Nights, with a friendly greeting to everyone entering Daddy Sam’s.
We know many of you loved Jackie, and loved seeing her at our Nocona Nights’ events with Goldie. Her family asks that we let you know of Jackie’s passing. Visitation is tonight (Thursday night) from 6 to 7 at Jerry Woods Funeral Home, followed by a “party” (which Jackie loved) at the VFW at 7:30. Funeral is Friday, July 8th, at 10 AM at the Methodist Church, all in Nocona.
